 ABOUT US

 The Landover Hills Volunteer Fire Department is Located in Prince George’s County Maryland just outside of our nation’s capitol.  Our first due is mostly residential area with some industrial. We are a combination volunteer and career fire station with the Prince Georges County Fire & EMS Department. Beyond our 1st due, the LHVFD is also very busy  running emergency calls with many other departments  into their communites. These departments and communities include but are not limited to Riverdale, Riverdale Heights, Kentland, West Lanham Hills,  Bladensburg, Glendale, Bowie, Tuxedo Cheverly, Capitol Heights, and Chaple Oaks. However, we can be dispatched to any location within Prince Georges County or the Washington Metropolitan area at any given time.   
 Mission

To provide fire and emergency medical service support to the Prince George’s County Fire and Rescue Department and to further promote fire and health related safety in the community by means of education, training and support at events within the community
 DONATIONS 
 
The Members of the Landover Hills Volunteer Fire Department are responsible for raising  the funds used to support our annual operating budget. With Prince Georges County in a historic budget deficit, our members are working harder than ever to raise these necessary funds through many different mediums. We are hopeful that these fundraising efforts will enable our Department's efforts to purchase new and improved fire fighting and rescue equipment, and provde our personnel with the training they must have.  
 
For 40 years our Rental Hall was the staple for our fund raising efforts, but is now gone. PG County now uses this space for physical fitness. We understand that times are tough for everyone, but with very little funding now coming into the LHVFD, we ask that you dig deep and please consider making a donation to us.  Every little bit helps!

Company 830, The Landover Hills Volunteer Fire Department & The Prince Georges County Fire & EMS Department Operate Two Class A Pumpers, Engine 830 & Engine 830B; Two Emergency Medical Services Units, Ambulance 830 & Medic 830; and a Hazardous Materials Unit, PGFEMS Hazmat 830.
